Just a Chill Guy - DAK

Just a chill guy. That’s what comes to mind when we look at the person on the logo of DAK.

DAK is a well travelled name, and is now omnipresent in the specialty coffee space.

Whilst DAK tends to focus on certain terroirs, it helps us look for unique coffees from popular areas such as this one. An Anaerobic Natural from Ethiopia.

Ethiopian farmers picking up modern processing methods has been quite an interesting plot line to follow in the specialty coffee landscape because of how pivotal this area has been for the success of specialty coffee. As the Ethiopian coffees don’t necessarily contain any coferments (with the exception of Mossto), it helps drive fruit forward profile whilst maintaining the high clarity which can be attributed to the high altitude.

We hope you’re able to appreciate and embrace the modern techniques Ethiopia adopts, as it is quite exciting spectacle for us!
